William “Billy” Cleveland focuses his practice on workplace law, bringing deep experience to complex employment matters and labor relations. Drawing on his background as a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, he provides strategic counsel across all aspects of the employment relationship.

 

His practice includes conducting comprehensive workplace investigations, managing severance negotiations, handling Department of Labor audits, and developing practical solutions to maintain positive work environments. He regularly advises on compliance matters, provides workplace training, and helps develop strategies to prevent and resolve employment disputes.

 

Billy represents clients in administrative proceedings and before state and federal courts. His litigation experience spans discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, workers' compensation matters, wrongful termination cases, and contract disputes. He brings a practical, solution-oriented approach to each case, understanding that successful resolution often requires balancing multiple interests while navigating complex workplace dynamics.

Billy frequently presents to fellow attorneys on Title VII and Fair Labor Standards Act compliance and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star.
